Artist Bio

Jennifer Sullivan combines sweet, sultry vocals and pop songwriting with unique instrumentation to create her eclectic sound. A Texas native, she moved from Austin to New York City to develop musically. She formed a band with pianist/producer Spike Wilner (SmallsLIVE) and began recording her debut album, Somethin’ New. A CONVERSE ™ endorsement enabled Jennifer to complete the album, which she released earlier this year. The debut album tour included performances at major music festivals Bonnaroo and SXSW. Featuring traditional country and jazz instrumentation, “the tunes sound like Norah Jones B-Sides” (Billboard.Com). The Somethin’ New Alternative Edition – coming soon - has an alternate track order plus the bonus tracks that earned Jennifer over 20K YouTube views.

Jennifer recently recorded new music produced by Grammy-award winning bassist Billy Peterson (Steve Miller Band, Bob Dylan) and keyboardist Jason Peterson Delaire (Prince, Michael Bolton). The forthcoming single, “Proof,” blends Jennifer’s emotive voice and lyrics with groovy blues guitar riffs, upright bass and an 808 beat. The first offering from her sophomore album, Jennifer plans to release the song and music video in 2015.
